Gallop Poll of 2007 on U.S.Catholics Today

I made a mistake on previous blog on this subject which I will correct now.

Subject poll was published as: American Catholics Today. It showed that 75 percent of U.S. Catholics said you can still be a good Catholic even if you do not obey church teachings on birth control.

I like to believe this kind of thinking was practiced by our Congressmen when they passed the enhanced stem cell research bills later vetoed by President Bush. I don't believe this in the case of the Fundamentallists or the Evangelicals though.

In all ways though, I WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS and A HAPPY NEW YEAR

The Gallop Poll of 2007 on U.S.Catholics Today

Sunday, November 9, 2008

In this election of Barack Obama as President & a democratically controlled Congress, we can see a change is now possible for a sooner cure for those 100 Million incurables. Legislation for embryo based research can proceed, unstopped by veto and a cure found at a greater pace .

Embryo research has always been an issue of low priority. Now, however, Universal Health Care is among this countries top concerns & embryo research can help.

With the sooner cure possible, those 100 Million incurables can stop taking their medications and stop visiting the doctor sooner.

Diseases, Mental & Physical Disabilities Cured

Enhanced Stem Cells -- What does that mean? To some it means life in the form of embryos that are discarded (thrown away). Some in the Catholic Church, some in the Evangelical church believe that way. So does President Geo. Bush. He has vetoed two congressional bills that would have made possible enhanced stem cell research with these usable stem cells.

Hopefully, a Democratic Congress and President will try again so those 100,000 embryos are not wasted

A Million Disabilities - UNCURED!

President Bush vetoed the 2 stem cell bills, which John McCain voted in favor of, contrary to the Republican platform. These bills would have helped 1 million citizens with disabilities. We must have a democratic president to enable this kind of legislation, because seperation of church and state is not in the US Constitution.

Arguably it should be!
