I have finally setup my blog for Multiple Sclerosis. I will adding entries in the coming weeks about my experiences with MS and my effort to be involved with embyronic stem cell research.

Education is the answer!

Hi Roger,
I fully agree with your thoughts. Science is just one of the areas in which our country is now lapsing behind. And it's a shame to waste the talents and ingenuity of so many people in this country who are committed to stem cell research, but who are now handcuffed by our own government. Our country was built on ingenuity, but now it doesn't seem to know how to get out of it's own way!

You might be interested in the following web site. It's a foundation started by Brooke Ellison, whose childhood was tragically altered at age 11 when she was hit by a car coming home from school. Brook has since survived as a quadrapalegic. But amazingly, she graduated Harvard and did graduate work there, and ran (unsuccessfully) for NY State Senate a few years ago. Brooke is now about 28 years old, and has dedicated herself to stem cell awareness and research. This site is a pretty good center of information on stem cell research:

Roger, best of luck to you. And I hope we are able to give more support to those amazing science minds to solve problems with this promising medical technology.

Best wishes,
Clayton Hemmert
